Welcome to Groxford (“the Service”), operated by Groxford.com. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Groxford satellite tracker at groxford.com and any related applications.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

• Content means all software, code, text, graphics, images, audio, video, data, and other material that is part of the Service.
• Proprietary Content means all Content authored by Groxford.com, including the Service’s HTML, CSS, JavaScript, backend server code, and derived data.
• User or you means any individual or entity accessing or using the Service.

2. Licence to Use

Subject to your continuing compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service via a standard web browser or authorised Groxford application, for personal, non-commercial purposes.

This licence does not include, and you are expressly prohibited from:

1. Copying, storing, reproducing, or making derivative works of the Proprietary Content, except for transient copies made automatically by a web browser for personal viewing;
2. Redistributing, republishing, mirroring, or hosting the Service or any part of the Proprietary Content on any website, service, application, or repository other than the official Groxford domains;
3. Modifying, adapting, translating, decompiling, disassembling, or reverse-engineering the Proprietary Content, except where such rights cannot be lawfully waived;
4. Using the Service or Proprietary Content in any commercial or non-commercial product, service, or publication without our prior written consent;
5. Removing, obscuring, or altering any copyright, trademark, licensing, or attribution notices;
6. Automating requests to the Service by bots, scrapers, or other software, other than clearly documented public APIs used within their published rate limits;
7. Attempting to circumvent security or access-control features;
8. Using the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

3. Intellectual Property

All Proprietary Content is owned by Groxford.com or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Accessing the Service source code through browser developer tools, view-source, network inspection, or any similar means does not grant you any licence or right to use, copy, distribute, or exploit that code beyond the limited licence granted in Section 2.

Third-party components (three.js, satellite.js, NASA imagery, TLE data from CelesTrak, open source fonts, and others identified in the Service documentation) are used under their own licences. Our proprietary licence applies only to Groxford-authored Content.

4. User Accounts

Some features may require registration. If you create an account:

1. You must provide accurate and complete information;
2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials;
3. You are responsible for all activities under your account;
4. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised access;
5. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms at our sole discretion.

5. Approved Features

Certain features require additional approval from Groxford.com. Approval is granted at our sole discretion and may be revoked at any time. We are not obligated to explain approval decisions.

6. API Access and Rate Limits

If we provide API access, you agree to:

1. Use the API only through credentials issued to you or through the official Groxford frontend;
2. Comply with all published rate limits;
3. Not share, resell, or transfer API credentials to third parties;
4. Not use the API to build a competing service.

7. Availability, Data Accuracy, and Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of data;
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
• Satellite positions are approximations based on public TLE data and analytical propagation. Real positions may differ significantly.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Groxford.com be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed one hundred pounds sterling (£100) or the equivalent.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Groxford.com from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

10. Enforcement

In the event of a suspected violation, we may, at our discretion and without prior notice:

1. Issue takedown notices under the DMCA or equivalent processes in other jurisdictions;
2. Block or restrict your access to the Service;
3. Pursue civil litigation for damages and injunctive relief;
4. Refer the matter to law enforcement where applicable.

11. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after modification constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.

12. Termination

You may terminate at any time by ceasing to access the Service. We may terminate or suspend access at any time, with or without cause. Sections 3, 7, 8, 9, and 10 survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Legal actions shall be brought exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

14. Severability

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any additional terms and published policies, constitute the entire agreement regarding the Service.
